Abstract

The two projects Vulgata Deutsch and Septuaginta Deutsch undergo a comparison with the aim of critically appraising the issue of Vulgata Tusculum Deutsch. Through the elaboration of similarities and differences, the topics of translation process, the corresponding models of translation and the handling of canonical texts, also on the margins of the writings, are considered in a differentiated way.
