Abstract

To introduce the forthcoming Handbook of the Vulgate Bible and Its Reception: A Bibliographical Guide, the author offers three excerpts from the book: the introduction, the table of contents (intended to provide a map of Vulgate research), and the section on the book of Ecclesiastes/Koheleth, supplemented by the glossary entries on ratio and vanitas.
